The official Twitter account of Escape From Tarkov has provided quite a bit of information about the upcoming technical update. It is stated that the Escape From Tarkov servers will go down on May 11, at 3 AM EDT/9 AM CEST for the installation of the update.
It is further added that the installation will take around 2 hours to complete. During this period, players will not be able to play the game until the installation is complete. Do note that you will likely need to download an update after that to be able to play the game again since it doesn’t seem like a server-side update.

Additionally, the developers have further added that the installation might take a bit longer so the 2-hour time frame is not totally fixed, and it might get extended if the circumstances change. Usually, we have seen the updates getting wrapped up on time itself, so one shouldn’t be that bothered about the maintenance getting extended.
