Changing a whole map pool less then 2 week before DH Valencia may sound insane, but I’m all up for it.
Let’s see some chaos!

I agree it’s a bold move, but I like it

ESL said in their twitter that these will be implemented to the ladder soon, probably they will wait till the current ladder season end, whenever that is.
Btw, these map looking Z̶e̶r̶g̶-̶u̶n̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶l̶y̶ balance, anyone has any impression during the TLMC?

It wasn’t in the last TLMC

Not as bad as when they made everyone play Dasan Station* for a premeir tournament, so it should be fine. :D

*I loved Dasan Station. Stupid gold nexus first every time.

Maybe update the OP with links to the maps, it should save people a lot of time. I mean stuff like this:

Ah great news, I actually voted for that map!
This mappool looks a lot less Zerg-friendly / more balanced then. Can’t wait for it

i love how you can tell from the name that Moondance and Stargazers are made by Marras

good to finally have new maps but at first glance there doesnt seem to be anything unique about them in that the initial 4 base layout is still identical across all of them

Agree with that. Only maps that stand out to me are Moondance, Stargazer, and Waterfall. And Moondance and Stargazer stand out because the expanding is even more free than usual
Waterfall is the only map that looks like it could play somewhat different than usual because it looks a bit smaller, but maybe it isn’t even smaller in reality.
