f0rest to stand in for fnatic at Pinnacle Cup Championship

fnatic have announced that Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg will stand in for their squad during their campaign in Lund, Sweden starting on Wednesday. It is not the first time that the 33-year-old will brand the black-and-orange jersey, playing for the London-based organization during the Counter-Strike 1.6 days between 2006-2010.

Patrik “cArn” Sättermon, fnatic‘s CGO and co-owner, announced earlier on Tuesday that the player they had been trialing for the last few days had fallen ill, resulting in his old teammate being called up for action.

f0rest temporarily returns to fnatic after more than a decade

f0rest needs no introduction. A staple of CS 1.6 and CS:GO, the Swede competed at the highest level of competition for many years, winning several tournaments and a Major with NIP, as well as being a key component of the team’s legendary 87-0 LAN winning streak. After two years with Dignitas, f0rest was recently moved to the inactive roster following the organization’s decision to rebuild their roster after their failure to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
