Fall Guys: How To Invite Cross Play Friends

With Fall Guys finally releasing to the Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox, as well as going free-to-play on all platforms, a massive new influx of players has hit the superstar title. The simplicity of the game has made it a perfect fit for any console and a fair competition across all platforms, though it isn’t immediately obvious how to go about setting up cross-play.

The process through which cross-play is set up is the same on all consoles and should take no longer than a few minutes. Fall Guys with friends is too good of an opportunity to pass up, and with this massive resurgence in popularity, and the ability for anyone to play together despite their platform differences, there is no better time to group up with friends and play than now.

How To Set Up Cross-Play In Fall Guys

Before players can invite cross-platform friends to their game, they’ll need to ensure that they have them added to their Epic Games friends list. Those who aren’t playing Fall Guys through Epic Games will still have to make accounts in order to play the game and will be prompted to do so the first time they load it up. Players can log in to an existing account if they have one, otherwise, they will need to make one.

Once the player is logged in to their Epic Games account and reaches the main menu of the game, they will need to press Open Party. The necessary button to do this for their platform is labeled at the bottom left of the menu.

Once the party menu has opened, players will see three invite buttons. Clicking one will open the Epic Games social menu on the right side of the screen, where their friends list can be seen. Any friends they have on their particular platform who have also played Fall Guys will appear here as well, as they must have Epic Games accounts.

To add a friend from a separate platform, players will need to search for them. They can use the search bar at the top of the social menu to find them, then click “Add Friend” to send a friend request.

Friend requests will appear in the second tab of the social menu, so once a request is sent out, the player’s friend must go ahead and accept it for them to appear in their list. Once that is done, they can go ahead and invite them through the main friends tab, by highlighting their name and clicking “Invite”.

That’s all there is to inviting cross-play friends in Fall Guys. Players can now get partied up and take on other groups in team modes, such as Squads or Duos, winning crowns and earning rewards with friends. Team shows offer larger victory rewards than solo shows, and playing them with friends as opposed to random players makes for easier communication, but more importantly, better shenanigans.
