After announcing Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition for Switch in April of this year, Studio Wildcard and Grove Street Games have released the first footage of the game running on Switch. This new version was made due to the disastrous release Ark initially had on the Switch, with horrific loading time, sub-HD resolution and a framerate that fell far below what is acceptable.
Ultimate Survivor Edition is a redone version with new functionality graphics and optimization and will include the Scorched Earth Expansion Pack at launch and see subsequent expansions arriving afterwards in two-month intervals.
ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition will launch this September, and those who already own ARK: Survival Evolved will receive the new version at no additional fee.
