Popular Warzone creator JGOD revealed in a recent video that the XM4 can rival the current top meta weapons. While currently the NZ-41 and Marco 5 dominate the meta, JGOD is adamant that this Cold War AR is still lethal.
This wouldn’t be the first time the XM4 would be a meta weapon, as previous seasons had the gun near the top of the meta, however currently the gun is sitting at lower, but still solid 1.3% pick rate. These percentages indicate that fans are still enjoying the XM4, and that the Cold War AR is still a reliable choice of weapon when dropping into Caldera or Fortune’s Keep

This loadout build is used for long to midrange situations, so we recommend pairing the XM4 with some of the meta SMGs. What makes the XM4 so reliable is that the gun has low recoil, a big magazine, and an above-average TTK. It might not hit as hard as the current meta weapons, but the recoil and magazine size can make up for its other flaws.
