The Fortnite OG Season 7 countdown is officially on as fans await the next map and weapon updates for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG.

After the successful launch of Fortnite OG with the Chapter 1 Season 5 map, Epic Games announced weekly adjustments to change up the POIs, weapons, Bundles, and more in the throwback season. Last week, we saw Chapter 1 Season 6 invade the Battle Royale, bringing the Double Barrell Shotgun, Clingers, and Driftboards to the island. Now, Chapter 1 Season 7 is on the horizon.

To prepare for all the changes coming to Fortnite OG in just a couple days, we have the Fortnite OG Season 7 countdown leading up to the big release.

The Fortnite OG Season 7 countdown is ticking down to the next update of Fortnite OG on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023. More staples from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 7, and even a few from Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 8, will enter the Battle Royale as the third major Fortnite OG update kicks off.

At the time of writing, there are less than two days until Fortnite OG Season 7 goes live in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season OG. Come Thursday, more OG weapons, like the Flint-Knock Pistol, Minigun, and Quad Launcher will enter the loot pool. Plus, Poison Dart Traps, Itemized Glider Redeploy, and Buried Treasure are also returning.

Fortnite OG Season 7 likely goes live at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 16. Both previous updates dropped at that time, so we expect the upcoming hotfix to debut at 9 a.m. ET as well.

Of course, there could always be unforeseen issues that delay the launch. With an entire new POI coming for the first time in Fortnite OG, it is possible the update takes longer than anticipated. Follow Fortnite on X to receive word when the new map is available to play.

Frosty Flights is coming to Fortnite OG on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, along with the Fortnite OG Season 7 update. The snow biome will be west of Flush Factory and south of Greasy Grove.

Frosty Flights is bringing planes back to Fortnite as well. The X-4 Stormwing will be the latest vehicle to enter Fortnite OG after this past update brought Quadcrashes and Driftboards back.
