Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges Guide Series 25 – Autumn | TheXboxHub

Week two of Series 25 carries on where week one and Summer left off in Forza Horizon 5, as Autumn blows into Mexico – and into the UK too looking at the scene outside the window! Of course, here we are unlikely to see a host of supercars screaming about the place.

But in Forza Horizon 5 that’s exactly what we are getting, so we’ll stick to a virtual Mexico and the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 25 Autumn. Hopefully you need some new cars and tunes to help you complete them, because if you don’t, these articles are going to feel like a waste…

Let’s kick up some leaves and have a look at Series 25 Autumn then, shall we?

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Super Veloce

The weekly challenge car this week is a Lamborghini, and I’m sure it is Paddy McGuinness’s favourite one after crashing it on Top Gear. Yes, it is the Diablo SV from 1997, and it is just as spiky in game as it is in real life, it seems!

If you don’t have one in your garage, it will cost you a mere 174,000 credits from the Autoshow.

Chapter 1 – Diablo

Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete!

Chapter 2 – Breathing Fire

The next step is pretty simple, just break the 200 mph barrier.

I tuned mine a tad to make this easier, and the share code is: 125472672. Nail it!

Chapter 3 – Poster Child

Next step is pretty easy, as all we have to do is paint the car’s body. That’s all! They look good in yellow, I feel, although mine is now a fetching Hot Wheels pink!

Chapter 4 -Hot Pursuit

Now we just need to win a Street Race to complete the playlist. Choose your best one and go crazy!

And with that, the weekly car challenge is complete, and we are five points nearer to the reward cars on offer in Series 25.

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

With that out of the way, let’s have a look at what new delights await us on the playlist this week. It seems like the template set last week with a lot of Eventlabs carries on this week (anyone would think it is the theme for the series or something). Still, at least there are a few races and PR stunts to have a crack at, so all hope isn’t lost!

Let’s have a peep at what is in store.

The Trial – Reach for the Sky

The Trial this week restricts us to a single model, that of the Nissan Skyline. But which model? As the tuning limit is B Class 700, I went for one I’d prepared earlier, an R32 model with share code 135285831. This model is listed as being from 1993 for the avoidance of doubt.(If you prefer the R33, from 1997, try share code : 224199956).

Should we manage to win two out of three races, a lovely Nissan GT-R is ours, one of my real life favourite cars. I’ll have one in white, please!

Eventlab 1 -TYPEHARDFARK Presents – Mudslingers Scramble

Lets see what this new season has brought out of the old Eventlab closet, shall we?

We need an A Class 800 Unlimited Offroad vehicle, and so I went with my usual answer to the question, a Jeep Trailcat with share code : 118411445. I haven’t met a problem that over 6 litres of V8 can’t solve!

This is a great track, definitely one of the best I’ve ever played. Enjoy!

The prize for completing this race is a Rivian R1T, an exclusive car. Nice.

Eventlab 2 – HONZ12  Presents Playa Azul Scramble

For this Eventlab, we need to use a Modern Rally or Rally Monster car tuned up to A Class 800. There’s only one car for the job, a Hoonigan Cossie V2 with share code :140648350.

Another good course, this one, although the first corner is a bit of an odd one! Liking the week so far…

A new emote, Relax, will be yours for completing the course though. How lucky!

Eventlab 3 – MAGNUS9270 Presents Autodromo Del Lago Trasimeno

Another Eventlab this week, how fortunate we are?

This time we need to use a car, any car, tuned to B Class 700, and I went with a stock Lancia Delta Integrale Evo. Same as last week, money saving fans!

Another nicely put together little circuit, with a nice flow and some very tight bends. What a week, I like all three Eventlabs! I think I need a lie down…

The prize for completion of this one is a Super Wheelspin.

PR Stunt 1 – Danger Sign – Event Horizon

This week the tuning limit for these events is B 700, and the car has to be a Chevrolet ZR2. I’m not sure about these events needing a single vehicle type to be honest…

With a little light jumping needed, and the run up to all of these Danger signs being offroad, I went with a share name ZR2 in conjunction with my GT, Red620Ti. One day I’ll be able to get you a share code as I tune these things…

We need to clear over 230m, and a nice long run up is needed.

A Super Wheelspin? It’ll do.

PR Stunt 2 – Danger Sign – Desert Dunes

The target this time is 220 m, and the choice of car is still restricted – so I used the truck from above.

Another Super Wheelspin awaits.

PR Stunt 3 – Speed Trap – Runway

Another jump, but this time the runup is a lot longer, and straighter! Same car required, but the distance this time is 340 m. A nice long run up is required, I fancy!

Yet another Super Wheelspin to add to the pile. How many of these are we having?

Seasonal Championship 1 – Hyped Up

Hypercars are the class this week, and the tuning limit is S2 Class 998. Quite a bit of choice here, but I went with my old favourite, the Koenigsegg Agera RS, with share code : 109282883.

For winning outright solo, or best two out of three in a convoy, we can take home a Lamborghini Urus. No jokes to had with that name!

Seasonal Championship 2 – Jumping Juggernauts

The class and car this time is an odd one – Heavy Hitters tuned to A Class 800.

I have no idea what a Heavy Hitter is, but from the list that is eligible to enter this set of races, I went with a Warthog with share code 980774271.

We can walk away with another prize for winning, a Chevy Camaro from 1970

Seasonal Championship 3 – Out for Delivery

As you may have surmised from the puntastic title of this series, we need to use a Van and Utility vehicle, tuned to A Class 800, to take part. I’m dying to use the A Team Van (GMC Vandura) but I may need my sensible head on. I went with a HSV GTS Maloo,  with share code 101727402.

We can win a Ford Focus from 2017 for getting the parcels out quick enough.

Part 3: Other Challenges

There’s always more to get involved in than just the racing, and that is the case again this week.

There’s the Photo Challenge and Treasure hunt, and that’s your lot!

Photo Challenge – #PicturePawfect

Another pun? We’re being spoiled this week. We need to take a Peugeot to the Farid Rueda Lion Mural in Playa Azul and take a photo to complete this week’s challenge.

I’ll post the location and my artistic effort below. I’ve given up getting you lot out there to join in!

The reward? A new bit of clothing, a Farid Rueda Sundress. Best shave my legs…

Treasure Hunt – Horizon Apex Treasure Stunt

This week, the clue reads “Head north along the coastline from the Horizon Apex Festival Site and keep an eye inland, to find the hidden Treasure Stunt course!”.

Of course, following instructions is pretty easy, and the course that we have to complete is exactly where the instructions say it is. And just to make things better, we have to complete the course to get the treasure chest, as it is on the last ramp. And this course is a lot trickier than last weeks!

The location of the chest is shown below. (And by extension the location of the stunt course).

The chest contains 100,000 credits.

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed  Zone – Treetops

This week, we are limited to a McLaren 570S, and limit of S1 Class 900. I made the following in an attempt to do this: share code : 179226463.

We have to maintain over 165 mph through the zone to come out on top.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward.

Seasonal Championship – We Don’t Need Roads

We need an offroad vehicle for this event, and it must be a maximum of B Class 700. I went with a Mini X-Raid All4 Countryman from 2013 with share code :183453347.

Winning all the races, or two out of three in a convoy, will get us a new car, a Mini Countryman. Not the most exciting prize I’ve ever won, not gonna lie!

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to…

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Zone – Tres Colinas

Same car, same limit, same event – Use the same car as above and the target is 85 mph. May be tricky as this is an on-road tune, but it is certainly quick enough!

The prize is another Super Wheelspin.

Seasonal Championship – Back in Blue

Not exactly AC/DC is it? Still, we need a B Class 700 Subaru for this series, and of the choice on offer, you’ll not be shocked to hear I went with an Impreza. The 22B to be exact, and share code is : 164422572.

For winning out, we can take away an Audi RS5.

With Series 25 moving along nicely, you can start saving up for the monthly cars – this Series they are a BMW 850CSi for 80 points, a new car to the game. For 160 pts it is a Porsche 911C2 GW, a hard to find set of wheels.

If you need a few extra points to get you over the line, the monthly Rivals challenges are here; two featuring EVs and two featuring good old internal combustion. These are, for EV’s – Baja California Trail and Herencia Cross Country Circuit. For those cars with proper engines, they are – Lookout Circuit and Ruta Norte. 4 points are on offer if you return clean laps for each one, so worth having a go at!

Grab enough points and Series 25 Autumn will also see you gifted with the exclusive BMW iX ‘22 for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get an Emory 356 C from 1964, a hard to find car, but sadly not exclusive.

To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.

Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes, and good luck in Series 25! Let us hope that next week’s Eventlabs are equally good as the ones this time around…
