We have the latest information on when Genshin Impact players can expect build 2.4 to release.
Genshin Impact travelers are making their way into the Dragonspine Mountains as part of the 2.3 “Shadows Amidst Snowstorms” content release. With Albedo taking centerstage and Tomas well placed in several character rosters, players already working to grind through the current snowy content. Some, however, have turned their gaze to the horizon in anticipation of the next chapter in the story.
Here’s what we know about Genshin Impact 2.4.

With miHoYo’s current schedule and commitment of releasing new content for Genshin Impact every six weeks, players are speculating that the release date for 2.4 could be as early as Jan. 6, 2022. Unsurprisingly, this has been calculated by taking the date for 2.3—Nov. 25—and simply counting six weeks in advance.
However, DBLTAP cannot confirm that as the actual date. Neither miHoYo nor any of the official Genshin Impact channels have come forward to announce or confirm a concrete date or time for the release of build 2.4.
That certainly hasn’t stopped players from wondering what could be next for the game. Rumors are already spiraling concerning the next banners, new characters, Wishes, weapons, and more. It appears there is no end to the wonders awaiting travelers in the world of Teyvat.
Unfortunately, fans will just have to be patient and wait for the next update in just over a month or so.
