Bring the Outlands to the tabletop.

The Apex Games will be adventuring into a new frontier soon with a new location that will be a lot closer to you than you think. Instead of a new battle royale map with plenty of hot-drop options, Apex Legends will now be making its debut on the tabletop with its own board game.

This is done in collaboration with Glass Cannon Unplugged, who unveiled Apex Legends: The Board Game earlier today, making it the first official and exclusive board game from the popular battle royale. Glass Cannon Unplugged calls it a “highly competitive, strategic, team vs. team miniatures board game for 2-4 players.’

Glass Cannon Unplugged will be releasing Apex Legends: The Board Game on May 17 2023 on Kickstarter. In the official announcement video posted on Glass Cannon Unplugged’s YouTube channel, the tabletop game is also going to feature an innovative combat system alongside legends with unique abilities while also promising endless replayability.

Being the creators behind other popular projects that took inspiration from video games like Frostpunk: The Board Game as well as Dying Light: The Board Game, it’s safe to say that Apex Legends is in safe hands to make its debut on the tabletop.

Apex Legends: The Board Game is currently listed on Glass Cannon Unplugged’s Kickstarter page with close to 3,000 followers at the time of writing. As of right now, there are no current updates on what to expect from the board game in terms of how much one would need to crowdfund for a board game of this level.
