GTA 6 Trailer gets 3 Million Likes on YouTube in First Hour

There was never any doubt that fans of GTA were going to break the internet in some way or another. Especially after they broke the record for the most-liked Tweet in gaming history. So then it was not a surprise to see fans flock to the trailer once it was officially released. Even with it being leaked, it looks like fans may break more records on YouTube as the GTA 6 trailer takes the world by storm.

GTA 6 YouTube Like Button Pushed to Oblivion

Fans couldn’t get to the like button fast enough once the GTA 6 Trailer went live on Youtube. Within the first hour, it already had 3 million likes. And this was after the leak of the trailer had been on Twitter for nearly an hour.

It was sad to see it get leaked but what is even more sad is that Rockstar clearly has a leak problem. This was not the first leak of the game, nor was it even the first leak in the last 24 hours before the reluctant launch of the trailer.

There had been leaks of gameplay from an employee’s son or at least that was apparently the case. Then only a few hours before the major leak, there were rumors that the trailer would be 1 minute and 31 seconds long. This added a lot of validity to the major leak of the trailer once it was shown with a runtime of that exact amount.

GTA 6 Release Date Partially Revealed

The GTA 6 Release Date will be sometime in 2025.

Keeping that in mind, it would seem that guessing the exact Grand Theft Auto 6 Release date is going to be a bit tough.

The 2025 release date feels far off and it probably is. GTA 5 came out in September but GTA 4 came out in April. So it is likely at least a year and a half away from release but more likely a full two years.

The probable release date will be sometime in the Summer of 2025 or the Holiday Season of 2025. The main reason is that so many people will be able to play and stream it during either break. The Holiday Season of 2025 feels too far away but it would make a ton of sense as that is a very popular time for major releases of games.

For now, that will be the guess but it will be interesting to see what more information comes out over the next year or two.
