Gundam Breaker 4 Should Be a Return to Form on PS5, PS4 This Year

Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Breaker 4 for PS5 and PS4. This is the latest instalment in the long-running Gundam Breaker series, which, outside of the frankly terrible New Gundam Breaker, has never been fully released here in the west. The previous mainline title, Gundam Breaker 3, was a smash hit with fans of the franchise — and so we’re hoping that this sequel will wash away the pain of 2018’s New Gundam Breaker.

This is a mission-based action title where you basically get to build your own mobile suit. Blasting your enemies to bits nets you new parts that you can use to customise your mech, and if it’s anything like its predecessors, there’ll be a ridiculous amount of equipment to collect. You’ll also be able to hop online with up to three other players and take part in co-op battles.
