Hassan Ridgeway to Miss 6-8 Weeks With Pec Injury

The San Francisco 49ers injury woes continue, as head coach Kyle Shanahan reported that one of their defensive tackles will miss time. Hassan Ridgeway will miss 6-8 weeks with a pectoral injury. This news comes just a day after quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered a season-ending broken foot.

PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Monday night.

The Indianapolis Colts drafted Ridgeway in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, with the 116th overall selection. He played for three seasons in Indianapolis before joining the Philadelphia Eagles for his next three.

2022 is Ridgeway’s first season in San Francisco. He has played in 12 total games, starting seven so far this year. His stats include one sack and 28 combined tackles (14 solo, 14 assisted). That tackle number is already eight above last year’s mark, despite him playing in all 17 games.
