Homeworld 3: War Games Free Demo Available Starting Today

A free demo for Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive’s Homeworld 3: War Games will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store starting today.

From now through February 12 at 10am PT, players around the world can check out Homeworld 3’s roguelike War Games that blends RTS games and roguelikes to create something new.

With support for solo play or up to two others, War Games tasks players with braving a series of randomized combat encounters. In order to come out on top, players will need to outfit their armadas with “game-breakingly” powerful upgrades (our favorite!) to overcome enemy assaults.

Homeworld 3: War Games – Demo Announcement

One can grab the demo on both the Epic Games Store and Steam during the Next Fest event.

Players won’t have to wait long for the full release – Homeworld 3 will come out for the PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on March 8.

On that same note, pre-orders are available in Standard, Deluxe, Fleet Command and Collector’s Edition bundles. In the case of the Fleet Command or Collector’s Edition versions, players can start playing on March 5, 2024.
