EA FC 24 Ultimate Team always keeps its loyal fanbase busy with an endless stream of content. Whenever a special campaign launches, players look forward to special edition cards. The biggest FC 24 event, Team of the Season (TOTS), has gone live, and as always, it has brought along a bag of treats for the Ultimate Team faithful. Remember those Red Ultimate Team player cards back from the FIFA days? Well, good news! They are now available in EA FC and you can get Red TOTS players. Read on to learn how you can get these exclusive red picks during the TOTS campaign. 

How to Get Red TOTS Players in EA FC 24 Champions

There are two possible pathways to obtaining EA FC 24 Red Champions players. You can either get them through Champions & Rivals rewards, or you need to go for the Red TOTS player evolution. 

Champions & Rivals Rewards 

The Team of the Season promo brought back the thrill of Red Picks in both Champions and Division Rivals!  These coveted player items are earned by reaching specific reward tiers in each competitive mode. EA FC 24 Red Picks grant you the power to choose from a selection of three or four TOTS players, each boasting the exclusive “Red Champions” rarity.

To obtain a Red Champions TOTS player item in Rivals, aim for at least Division 4. In Champions, achieving Ranks 6 and higher also earns you Red Picks.

Red Champions Evolution

The Ultimate Birthday Champions Bonus Objectives hold the key to unlocking the Red Champions Evolution. This limited-time event offers a chance to supercharge your Red Champions players through Evolution.  The path is demanding:  35 Champions Finals wins unlock the first upgrade, with a second evolution waiting for those who conquer 75 matches.

Once you’ve conquered the Birthday Champions objectives, head to the “My Rewards” section to claim your Red Champions Evolution.  Then, navigate to the “Evolutions” menu, where you’ll find a new option titled “Ultimate Team Champions.”  Select this evolution, and the power is yours – unleash the Red Champions rarity on any player of your choice!

EA FC 24 TOTS Champions Rewards 

When EA FC 24 was initially launched, EA Sports made the controversial decision to remove red player picks from the game, much to the frustration of the UT community. However, in response to feedback and as part of an update to the EA FC 24 Champions rewards for TOTS, red player picks have made a comeback, with significant improvements across all Champions rewards.

The Champions Finals schedule has been shifted to align with the arrival of TOTS Live, which dropped on Friday, April 19th.  To celebrate this electrifying event, EA has revamped the Champions rewards structure – now you can snag coveted TOTS players starting from Rank 10, all the way up to Rank 1!

The EA FC 24 TOTS rewards list currently looks like this:

While the new rewards are a significant improvement, the gap between Rank 4 and Rank 1 might leave some high-achieving players wanting more. Climbing from 19 wins to a perfect 20 only nets you one additional Red TOTS Player Pick. This could potentially discourage players from pushing for that flawless record.
