How to Get Caustic’s Prestige Skin in Apex Legends

Caustic is the latest character in Apex Legends to get a Prestige skin. Here’s the best way to get it and add the skin to your collection.

Following the likes of Bangalore and Wraith, Caustic has been given his own Prestige skin. Called Contagion, the Prestige skin comes with three different forms to switch between. With each tier, the skin takes on a more toxic-themed appearance. It even comes with a finishing move — Toxic Scream.

The cosmetic also marks Caustic’s first-ever Mythic rarity skin, and the three tiers won’t all be unlocked at once. Players will need to put in the work not only to earn themselves the Prestige skin, but to get all three forms.

Like all Prestige skins, Caustic’s Contagion can’t be brought straight from the item shop. The skin is part of the Veiled Collection Event, which runs from April 25 to May 9.

Throughout the event, players will need to collect all 24 cosmetic items that are part of the Veiled Collection Event, which can be seen in the Veiled Collection tab. Those familiar with this method of earning Prestige skins will know that it can be one hell of a grind.

Players who unlock all 24 cosmetics in the collection before the event ends will automatically receive Caustic’s Contagion Prestige skin. 

Alternatively, if you’re not worried about being timely, you can wait until the skin becomes available in the Myhtic Store after the event. Of course, you’ll need to be prepared to shell out 150 Heirloom Shards, which we all know can be a pain to amass.
