How to get Paldium Fragments in Palworld

Paldium Fragments are the core ingredient needed to build any Pal-related structure or any gear needed to capture Pals in the wild. It’s safe to say that not only will you need thousands of these, but you’ll also want to industrialize the process.

Finding Paldium Fragments in Palworld

In the beginning, you’ll want to pick up as much as you can, and thankfully, there are Paldium Fragments littered all over the place. All you gotta do is pick them up.

Each fragment you find on the floor merely is one fragment, so you’ll soon want to find better ways of gathering this resource.

Mining Paldium Fragments in Palworld

As soon as you get a Pickaxe, you can start mining Paldium deposits for more Paldium Fragments. Typically, around the world, you’ll find little blue stone chunks — these are small Paldium deposits. Mining them will net you five Paldium Fragments. In the first spawn area, you’ll find loads of these around, so going around and mining them all every once in a while should satiate your need for Paldium Fragments for the short term.

Soon, however, your need for Paldium Fragments will seriously increase. For this, you can find much larger Paldium rocks, the same size as Ore or Stone deposits. These can be found in the Cave Dungeons. So it’ll be worth doing some spelunking to net as many Paldium Fragments as you can carry, with each deposit netting you 40 fragments.

It’ll be worth having Pals on your team that can increase carry capacity, like Cattiva or Kingpaca. There is another way, though, to get even more Paldium Fragments in a semi-automated process.

Also, if you have lots of regular Stone deposits around your base, it may be worth allowing your mining Pals to mine them instead of building a Stone Pit for them. This is because the normal Stone deposits have a chance of dropping Ore and Paldium Fragments, so if they’re constantly mining the Stone around the base you’ll also have an automated way of gaining Ore and Paldium Fragments, something not possible with the Stone Pit.

Making Paldium Fragments in Palworld

Before long in Palworld, you’ll get access to the Crusher. This is where the true fun begins. At level eight, the Crusher will unlock, and you’ll have to place one for a Palbox Base mission. The Crusher will allow you to get Paldium Fragments from Stone.

The Crusher costs 50 Wood, 20 Stone, and 10 Paldium Fragments to build. Once built, select Paldium Fragments from the menu. I would suggest making as many as you can, as you can always quickly get more Stone.

You can’t work on this station, so you will be relying on Pals with the Watering skill to keep it going. If you want this to be continuously worked on, then pick up your Watering Pal and throw them right next to the Crusher. They will now be assigned to it, and will only stop to eat, sleep, or have a short break.

This way, you’ll always have a fresh batch of Paldium Fragments in the works. You will have to keep repeating the order, however, so it’s only worth it if you order tons of Paldium Fragments at a time.

Now that you’re aware of every way to get Paldium Fragments, why don’t you learn how to get guns in hands of your Pals?
