Three new weapons were also added to a limited-time Battle Pass Sector that fans can get by completing specific weapon challenges, including the Pickaxe Melee weapon.

To unlock the Pickaxe Melee weapon in Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded, players must get 15 Operator kills with Melee weapons.

To see the challenge, players must first unlock Battle Pass Sector E0 to reveal the three new weapons in the update. To get Sector E0, complete Sector E2 or browse the now declassified sector from the Faction Showdown Event.

Getting 15 Operator kills with Melee weapons can be a tedious task to complete, especially in Warzone 2. Head to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to get 15 quick Melee kills to unlock the Pickaxe Melee weapon. Those looking for a challenge can try their luck on a Resurgence map in Warzone 2 (we recommend Vondel) to tally up their Melee kills.

According to the Warzone 2 Season 5 roadmap, the Pickaxe Melee weapon is a “heavy-duty” weapon that “enables quiet and deadly operations behind enemy lines with best-in-class damage and range.”

Although the weapon cannot bring down walls, it will do its job against Operators “with aggressive swiftness.” The Pickaxe might not be as exciting as the 9mm Daemon Pistol or Lachmann Shroud SMG, but you will have to unlock it if you want to get your hands on the Lachmann Shroud.
