Jaren Jackson Out 4-6 Months After Foot Surgery

Forward Jaren Jackson had surgery on a stress fracture in his foot on Wednesday and will be out four to six months. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the news.

Jackson, 22, was a first-round pick by the Grizzlies in 2018. He made the All-Rookie team. In 2021-2022, Jackson made his first All-Defensive team as the block champion of the NBA. For his career, Jackson has averaged 16.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game in his career.

With the injury, the Grizzlies will be looking for other players to step up, as Jackson will be out until November at the earliest. After finishing with a 56-26 record in 2021-2022, the Grizzlies are projected to take a step forward next season.
