Kirby and the Forgotten Land now the best-selling Kirby game ever

According to the latest data from Nintendo, Kirby and the Forgotten Land has become the best-selling Kirby game ever.

Right now total sales for the title stand at 5.27 million copies worldwide. Believe it or not, this was enough to push it over the edge as the franchise’s new best seller. Kirby’s Dream Land previously held the record with 5.13 million copies sold.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land managed to set plenty of records and hit various milestones prior to today. We previously heard that it had the highest sell-through for the series, had the franchise’s biggest launch ever in the UK (and became the most successful entry in the region), and saw the best debut in Japan.
