League of Legends has been pumping out new and interesting champions for over a decade now. Some hit and others miss a bit. As stated above, the Ink Mage will be coming sometime after the Vampire and Naafiri. When looking at what that means, fans will likely see this character near the end of the year. With Naafiri potentially coming in May and the Vampire around the end of the summer, the likely time for the Ink Mage would be around October and maybe even as the last champion of 2023.

There is some new and old information going on surrounding this champion. Apparently, this was a champion that was made in the past to some degree. According to BigBadBear, this champion was revealed a few years ago when devs were talking with Imaqtpie.

Essentially what was said was that this character would be able to draw all of its abilities. From its attacks to something that would create terrain. They decided that this character would likely be okay in lane but would struggle in teamfights with players trying to draw during them.

While it would seem as though some of the aspects of that champion are gone, the essential parts of it are staying. Once it is revealed or leaked, fans will certainly be intrigued to see what all they came up with.
