Misfits vs Fnatic

Predictions: Misfits to win

Odds:  2.43

Betting Site: Odds provided by GG.bet

When: September 2, 2022 – 18:00 CEST

After a near nightmare ending to the Excel series, Fnatic will have to eliminate a stronger opponent to continue their LEC playoff run. They showed the same problems they had in the regular season in the first round of the playoffs, narrowly beating Excel 3-2.

Misfits’ opponent was league leader G2 Esports. Despite starting the series with a win, they couldn’t withstand G2’s strong showing and lost the match 3-1. My faith in Fnatic at the start of the playoffs waned after the way they played. A 5-game series can cause two things: Fnatic’s confidence will grow and they will perform better, or other opponents will realize their weaknesses.

Despite losing in the first series, Misfits are closer to making it through this round in LEC playoffs.

G2 Esports vs Rogue

Predictions: G2 Esports to win

League of Legends Odds: 1.53

When: September 03, 2022 – 15:00 CEST

G2 Esports and Rogue will face each other in a battle to determine the first team to reach the LEC Summer 2022 final. We’ve seen a lot of these two teams in such important battles. In recent series, Rogue would come out on top and G2 would be on the winning side. Now, G2 Esports are the stronger team.

Especially towards the end of the regular season, G2 Esports stepped up a gear and won almost all the matches they played and will come into this series as the best team in the league. Rogue, on the other hand, is a team that is far from its former dominant performance and has deficiencies. Their opponent is a team that can take full advantage of these flaws.

G2 have everything to be the first team to reach the finals.

TSM vs Evil Geniuses

LoL PredictionsEvil Geniuses to win

Odds: 1.16

When: September 02, 2022 – 22:00 CEST

After a bad season, it’s a miracle that TSM even made it to Round 2 of the playoffs. They surprisingly defeated FlyQuest 3-2 in Round 1 despite no one giving them a chance, and now they face Evil Geniuses.

EG suffered an unexpected loss against Cloud9. Finishing the regular season in first place, they were, according to most people, the strongest team in the playoffs. However, C9 showed from the very first series that this was not the case. They overwhelmingly defeated their strong opponent and sent them to the lower-bracket.

The bad start might have demoralized Evil Geniuses players, but they are still favorites against TSM.

Cloud9 vs 100 Thieves

Predictions: 100 Thieves to win

Odds: 1.73

LoL Betting Site: Odds provided by GG.bet

When: September 03 2022 – 22:00 CEST

LCS Championship 2022 is going to be a huge battle to determine the first team to reach the finals. Cloud9 was one of the teams that managed to beat 100 Thieves, who finished the league with 14 wins and 4 losses.

100 Thieves’ first opponent in the playoffs was the powerful Team Liquid. They almost lost the series after a great start, but they won the last game of the series to advance to the next round with a score of 3-2. C9, on the other hand, defeated CLG 3-2 and then Evil Geniuses 3-1 to reach this stage, and their performances were very convincing.

It won’t be a one-sided series for sure. That being said, 100 Thieves is one step ahead.
