LoL Patch 13.24: New champion Hwei makes his debut!

Riot Games is set to conclude 2023 with a grand finale in patch 13.24, the season’s final update, marking the debut of the versatile midlane mage Hwei, the tormented artist from Ionia.

Described as a high-complexity champion in a dev update, Hwei has exceeded expectations by becoming the first champion capable of casting ten unique spells. His elaborate and intricate ability kit, centred around the mastery of paint and art, holds immense gameplay potential and players can’t wait to try him out on the Rift!

With a palette of abilities at his disposal, Hwei provides players with the opportunity to flex their strategic minds by choosing the perfect ability for each situation. Hwei’s versatility promises to shake up the midlane meta, offering a unique playstyle that rewards creativity and adaptability.

Hwei the Visionary makes his grand debut with the release of patch 13.24 on 6 December 2023, at 21:00 UTC!

Hwei’s prowess revolves around the artistry of paint, manifested through three art “subjects”: Disaster (Q), Serenity (W), and Torment (E). Each subject opens the door to a trio of unique abilities, with Disaster focusing on damage-based spells, Serenity providing supportive capabilities, and Torment granting crowd control.
