Lucky returns to Tricked

Tricked has announced the return of Philip “Lucky” Ewald, who rounds out the Danish squad’s roster filling the AWPer position that was left open in May when Sebastian “larsen” Larsen was moved to the bench.

Lucky, who played over 250 maps with Tricked and won several local competitions with the team before leaving in August 2021, will reunite with three of his former teammates, Andreas “kiR” Kirstein, Oliver “kwezz” Rasmussen and Mathias “PR1mE” Carlsen.

Lucky welcomes returning to a stable home

“After being in a place where it was very turbulent and at times chaotic with many replacements on the team, it’s very nice to be back in a place where you know you feel at home and where you know how things work,” Lucky said of his return.

The 19-year-old also brings with him a wealth of experienced after competing at events like the PGL Major in Stockholm, the BLAST Premier Fall Finals at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, or IEM Katowice.

“It’s a great feeling to be able to welcome Lucky back after his trip to Astralis,” said Tricked’s CEO, Morten Høj Jensen. “Unfortunately he did not get the stay he and we wanted for him, but we have at no time lost faith in his enormous talent. The team has clearly lacked some of his qualities and firepower since the sale last year, so the joy of reunion is great. I am proud that Lucky shows us the confidence that he trusts that we can get him back to the top.”

Tricked is now:
