mithR To Replace kuben At Apeks As The New Head Coach

Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski became an integral part of the Apeks organization when he officially joined the team on August 5, 2022. Over the course of his tenure with Apeks, which has now spanned well over a year, the team has immersed themselves in the competitive CSGO landscape, participating in a commendable total of 31 tournaments.

With kuben as a key figure in the organization, Apeks has had the opportunity to test their mettle against some of the most formidable opponents in the CSGO scene, constantly refining their strategies, teamwork, and individual skills along the way.

The combined earnings of the team under kuben’s watch have reached an impressive milestone, amassing a substantial sum of $199,000 in prize money.

kuben: The Architect Of Apeks’ Historic Paris Major Campaign

Undoubtedly, the most significant milestone Apeks achieved with kuebn is their Paris Major Semi Final run. The Norwegian outfit made it to the last four of the final CSGO Major, outperforming some of the best teams in the world. Their journey would eventually end with a defeat against the eventual champions, Team Vitality, but their Paris Major campaign stands as a shining testament to the team’s progress under kuben.

Establishing Apeks As A Top-Tier Counter-Strike Force

The Polish coach invested an extraordinary amount of effort and dedication into elevating Apeks team to the coveted Tier 1 status within the competitive Counter-Strike landscape. Other than their phenomenal Paris Major performance, Apeks won the ESEA Season 43: Advanced Division – Europe, ESL Challenger League Season 45: Europe, and Elisa Invitational Spring 2023 titles under kuben’s watch.

Apeks’ Meteoric Rise In Rankings Under kuben’s Watch

When Jakub “kuben” Gurczynski assumed leadership of Apeks, the team was initially ranked 61st. With his strategic guidance and vision, the Norwegians embarked on a remarkable journey up the rankings chart.

Under kuben’s stewardship, Apeks steadily climbed the ranks, reaching an impressive all-time high ranking of 8th. This ascent marked a historic achievement for the team and showcased the transformative impact of their new coach.

As of the latest update, Apeks maintains a commendable 16th position in the rankings. This sustained success reflects the team’s commitment to excellence and their ability to compete at a high level, all while under kuben’s experienced leadership.

Why Is Kuben Leaving?

Harumi was unable to provide details regarding the reasons behind Kuben’s departure from the organization. Apeks faced challenges in replicating their impressive performance from the Paris Major in their recent S-tier events.

Their struggles were evident as they secured a 17th-20th place finish at IEM Cologne 2023 and experienced an early exit at Gamers8 2023. These setbacks might have contributed to the mutual decision by Kuben and Apeks to seek a new direction for the organization, aiming to chart a more prosperous path forward.
