MultiVersus Morty Release Date

During San Diego Comic-Con, MultiVersus made a surprise announcement for a new character entering the title. Morty Smith from Rick and Morty will be making an appearance in the crossover fighter. During the panel, the MultiVersus Morty release date was also provided.

Morty will be available when MultiVersus Season 1 begins on Aug. 9.

Rick will also be part of Season 1 however no release date was given for his arrival. Lebron James was also announced amongst the dynamic duo. His release is set for July 26. Morty’s involvement in the title wasn’t much of a surprise to gamers as previous voice lines and other info were leaked before this announcement.

“Aw geez, it’s a fighting game”

Bio:

“Lots of people have close relationships with their grandparents. And then there’s… whatever Morty has with his grandpa, Rick. While under Rick’s “supervision” Morty has been dragged all over the universe. Whether it’s through countless different time streams, or in and out of various dimensions (mostly legally), he does his best to remain optimistic despite the crushing truths of reality.”

Character Class:

Brawler

While Morty’s skills and abilities are still unknown it is revealed that he is a brawler. This means that he will be dishing out some heavy damage to enemies.
