NASCAR Betting News for the 2023 Season: Calendar Ready!

The 2023 schedule is out for the NASCAR Cup Series, as the slate is set for the 75th professional season of stock car racing. Texas Motor Speedway has lost an event in the Cup Series for 2023, as the only event that will take place at the track will come during the playoffs. The All-Star event has been moved to North Wilkesboro (NC) Speedway. The Road America race, formerly held in Wisconsin, will move to Chicago and run on the streets. There are some other changes as well, so let’s take a detailed look at the schedule as you consider how you will place your online betting choices for NASCAR next year.

Some other changes of note include the following:

April’s race in Martinsville will shift from Saturday night to Sunday. This means that there will only be two races in the Cup Series on Saturday night: the Bristol night race in September and the Daytona regular-season finale.

The street course race in Chicago will be a first for NASCAR.

Texas Motor Speedway also lost an Xfinity Series race, as the event from All-Star Weekend will take place in Sonoma. The Chicago street course will also host the Xfinity Series playoff event that had previously taken place in Talladega. The Xfinity Series will have eight road courses next year, including a return trip to Road America.

The truck series will have their race at Texas Motor Speedway, paired with an IndyCar event. North Wilkesboro will get the truck race that had previously been at Sonoma to build support for the All-Star weekend. Knoxville (Iowa) will lose a truck race to The Milwaukee Mile.
