New World Update 1.5.5 Patch Notes & Maintenance Time (June 28-29)

New World update 1.5.5 will soon go live, and with this new patch, Amazon Game Studios attempts to implement a number of balance changes to the PvP mode.

It’s been a while since the Areanas mode is live in New World, inviting players to challenge their builds and characters against other players for valuable rewards. However, it seems the amount and quality of rewards need more refining as Amazon Game Studios has changed the rewards PvP matches.

Following a decrease in the amount of rewards, now Amazon Games Studios is buffing the PvP Areanas outcome in both Salt and XP points. Down below, you can check out the latest changes in PvP Arenas:

When Does New World Server Maintenance Begin?

According to an official blog post by Amazon Game Studios, New World servers will go down on June 28 at 11 pm PT or June 29 at 2 am ET/6 am UTC/7 am BST/8 am CEST/4 pm AEST. Unfortunately, there is no estimated time on when we can expect the servers to get back online, but you can expect at least 2 hours of downtime.

During the maintenance, you won’t have access to any online features in New World, which means you can’t connect to any of the worlds. Once the maintenance is over, you can start downloading the update and resume your adventure in Aeternum.
