No More Heroes 3 Will Touchdown on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC This October

Marvelous and XSEED Games have announced today that No More Heroes 3 will be releasing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (via the Mirosoft Windows Store and Steam) on October 11th, 2022.

After a successful release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players will be able to take Travis on a tour of mayhem, and what’s more is that there is a special physical “Day 1 Edition” that’s available to pre-order now through the XSEED Games Store.

The special “Day 1 Edition” includes an actual copy of the game, a 5.3″x7.3″ art book chock full of artwork, totaling more than 70 pages, a CD with 22 songs from the soundtrack, and a 7″x4″ Santa Destroy biker license plat. And, if that’s not enough, there’s also some new illustrations for the game’s box by series artist Yusuke Kozaki.

At the time of writing, there’s only information about the physical edition being released, with the press release stating that more information about the digital editions will come at a later date. It’s fair to assume that pre-orders for the digital versions will most likely get some form of in-game item or reward.

This new release on the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms will also bring some technical improvements over the original Nintendo Switch version, namely with improved framerates, visual effects, and faster loading times, which is to be expected, really. So, if you missed out the first time around on Nintendo Switch, you’ll be getting the best possible version this winter.

To top it all off, there’s a new trailer today featuring Travis Touchdown, his many weapons of destruction, toilet unclogging, and grass cutting – just the standard stuff for Travis Touchdown, then.

We gave No More Heroes 3 a very respectable 8/10 review when it launched last year on the Nintendo Switch, noting that the game features “a great variety of different styles of gameplay and combat” and that it “rarely feels stale and keeps players coming back for more with the over-the-top story that they have come to expect from the series.”
