Fan-Made Sekiro 2 Concept Trailer In UE5 Looks Mesmerizing

How we can not be excited for a sequel to Sekiro? While there is nothing official about the next FromSoftware game, you will probably love this fan-made concept trailer for Sekiro 2 made in Unreal Engine 5.

Enfant Terrible, a well-known YouTube content creator recently shared a new video from their new project on Unreal Engine 5, showing a brief tech demo of a Sekiro 2 concept.

The video looks absolutely stunning in visuals thanks to Unreal Engine 5’s cutting-edge features in lighting and environment design. The creator has managed to remake some of the original Sekiro Shadows Die Twice locations in this demo, which looks mesmerizingly beautiful.

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice was the latest legendary drop by FromSoftware before they start working on Elden Ring. Managing to win the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2019, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice was a new approach to Souls-Like games for Miyazaki.

You might be able to put Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Elden Ring in a similar category, but there is no doubt that Sekiro was a fresh and unique title by FromSoftware. Although it was still a difficult game similar to previous Miyazaki titles, it introduced a new combat system much different from the traditional Dark Souls combat.

Also, Sekiro had a more linear story-telling than the Dark Souls series, which made it even more enjoyable for newcomers to the Miyazaki universe.

Unfortunately, we have no idea what’s next for Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team at FromSoftware, but we can’t wait to see what the legendary studio will introduce to the world with their next big hit.

Many Elden Ring fans hope FromSoftware releases a post-launch expansion for the game, but that is something we have barely seen from Miyazaki for their previous titles.

After what Elden Ring achieved, it would be interesting to see whether the studio will continue the open-world system or get back to its smaller worlds again with another Dark Souls or a sequel to Sekiro.
