NFL Draft Prospects in the 2022 Gasparilla Bowl

The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2022 Gasparilla Bowl.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons Draft Prospects

A.T. Perry, WR

Perry has been a Demon Deacon for four seasons, but has been a star for them over the last two. He has 160 catches for 2,546 yards and 28 touchdowns in his career. This season, he has hauled in 70 passes for 980 yards and 11 touchdowns.

At 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, Perry has the height to be a matchup problem at the next level. His catch radius is also notable. He’ll need to add some muscle to his frame, but he showed he could make big plays at the collegiate level.

Projected Draft Range: Second Round Pick-Fourth Round Pick

Kobie Turner, DL

Turner started his career at the FCS level playing for the Richmond Spiders. He was able to be the CAA Conference Defensive Player of the year during his time at Richmond. This season for Wake Forest, Turner has 34 total tackles, eight tackles for loss and one sack.

He has solid size for a defensive lineman at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds. Turner only had one year playing at the FBS level, which could hurt his draft stock. He played solidly with his eight tackles for loss, but will be going up against players with a lot better production.

Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick

Other Draft Prospects: QB Sam Hartman (5th-7th), EDGE Rondell Bothroyd (6th-UFA), DL Dion Bergan Jr. (UFA)

Missouri Tigers Draft Prospects

Kris Abrams-Draine, CB

Abrams-Draine has been at Missouri for three seasons and has been very good for them over the last two seasons. He has 77 total tackles, three interceptions and 20 passes defended in is career. For the 2022 season, Abrams-Draine has registered 40 tackles and 13 passes defended.

He stands at 5-foot-11 and 179 pounds, which will be a little light and short for an outside NFL corner. His tape has been good in the SEC. He demonstrated good ball skills and that he could help against the run during his time at Missouri.

Projected Draft Range: Third Round Pick-Fifth Round Pick

Javon Foster, OT

Foster has been on campus at Missouri since 2018. He redshirted in his first year, then played in two games in his second-year on campus. In 2020, he made two starts. Foster then took over the left tackle spot in 2021 and played well. This season he has also played well at left tackle.

He stands at 6-foot-5 and 319 pounds, which is solid for an NFL offensive tackle. His arm measurements at the combine will be watched closely. Foster has proven to be a better pass blocker than run blocker at this point of his career, but he is not bad at either.

Projected Draft Range: Fourth Round Pick-Sixth Round Pick

Other Draft Prospects: EDGE Isaiah McGuire (6th-UFA), OT Zeke Powell (UFA), K Harrison Mevis (UFA)
