The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2023 Military Bowl.

Virginia Tech Hokies Draft Prospects

Antwuan Powell-Ryland, EDGE

He has ok size for an NFL edge rusher at 6-foot-3 and 242 pounds, but could benefit from some more play strength. Powell-Ryland showed real development this season, but still has eligibility remaining and may elect to return to school.

Projected Draft Range: 4th Round Pick-6th Round Pick

Da’Quan Felton, WR

Felton started his collegiate career at Norfolk State in the FCS. Following the 2022 season, Felton transferred to Virginia Tech. In his lone season for the Hokies, Felton caught 38 passes for 667 yards and eight touchdowns.

At 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds, Felton has excellent size for a wide receiver. He can be a mismatch for smaller corners and is also a red zone threat. Felton may struggle to separate and will have to win 50/50 balls to be successful at the next level.

Projected Draft Range: 6th Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent

Tulane Green Wave Draft Prospects

Michael Pratt, QB

Pratt joined Tulane in 2020 an immediately mae an impact, which is rare at the quarterback position for a freshman. Over his career, he has passed for 9,611 yards, 90 touchdowns and 26 interceptions on 60.6 percent completion. In 2023, he has 2,406 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and five interceptions on 65.4 percent completion.

At 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, Pratt has solid size for an NFL quarterback. He has developed his accuracy during his time at Tulane. Pratt has mentioned that he isn’t transferring and will likely return to Tulane for another season of football before turning pro.
