NFL Quarterbacks Betting Odds: Rivalries for Week 10

Tom Brady showed his ability to turn back the clock once again last week, breaking the 100,000-yard mark in passing totals and leading yet another comeback win. Another aging veteran, Aaron Rodgers, had a much more disappointing day, throwing three picks in a game for the first time since 2017, looking more like Brett Favre in his last season than Favre’s All-Pro successor. Josh Allen suffered a UCL injury that could keep him out of this week’s showdown with the Vikings. Andy Dalton faltered once again in prime time, as Saints fans may be banging the drum for Taysom Hill to get a chance as the starter. Let’s break down each quarterback matchup in Week 10 as you consider your NFL betting for the slate of games.

NFL News: Week 10 Quarterback Matchups

Thursday, November 10

Atlanta Falcons (-3) at Carolina Panthers (O/U 44.5)
(8:15 pm ET, Prime Video)

Marcus Mariota has a solid vibe going, keeping the offense running with his legs – and with just enough clutch passes to put points on the board. The defense couldn’t keep the Chargers from coming back late, and Mariota doesn’t put up points in bunches. Even so, he will have more than enough as the Falcons get a second crack at P.J. Walker and understand how to control him this time.

Sunday, November 13

Seattle Seahawks (+2.5) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (44.5)
(9:30 am ET, NFL Network)

Geno Smith vs Tom Brady in Germany? Will the jet lag from the trip to Europe affect a mid-40s Brady more than it will a younger Geno Smith? Smith is putting up huge numbers each week, while Brady is struggling to get his team past 14 points on a weekly basis.

Minnesota Vikings (+6) at Buffalo Bills (45.5)
(1:00 pm ET, FOX)

Josh Allen ran for two touchdowns – and threw two interceptions as the Jets came back for the upset win last week. Kirk Cousins led the Vikings to a big win in Washington – against a backup quarterback. Both teams have stellar skill set players around their quarterback, but Allen’s UCL injury gives Cousins the edge here.

Detroit Lions (+3) at Chicago Bears (48.5)
(1:00 pm ET, FOX)

Justin Fields set a record for rushing yards by a quarterback in a regular-season game last week against Miami – but the Bears’ defense got shredded by Tua Tagovailoa. Jared Goff has a hard time sustaining scoring drives, but will that matter against this Chicago defense?

Denver Broncos (+3) at Tennessee Titans (39)
(1:00 pm ET, CBS)

Russell Wilson vs Malik Willis? Ryan Tannehill remains questionable for the Titans, and the Broncos have the defense to limit what Willis or Tannehill can do against him. Is Russell Wilson ready to take advantage of a beneficial matchup?

Jacksonville Jaguars (+9.5) at Kansas City Chiefs (50)
(1:00 pm ET, CBS)

Trevor Lawrence against Patrick Mahomes? Lawrence has franchise quarterback potential, but Mahomes has been and is the real deal. We saw that again as Mahomes guided the Chiefs to an overtime win despite a ferocious Titan pass rush.

Cleveland Browns (+4) at Miami Dolphins (48.5)
(1:00 pm ET, CBS)

Tua Tagovailoa is putting up huge numbers each week, while Jacoby Brissett is just driving the bus for Nick Chubb to carry the ball.

Houston Texans (NL) at N.Y. Giants (OFF)
(1:00 pm ET, CBS)

Davis Mills against Daniel Jones. I like Jones in this matchup, if only because of the lack of talent around Mills.

New Orleans Saints (-2.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (41.5)
(1:00 pm ET, FOX)

I’m sour on Andy Dalton at this point, but he has a lot more experience playing in Pittsburgh than Kenny Pickett does. Pickett’s ceiling is a lot higher, though.

Indianapolis Colts (+5.5) at Las Vegas Raiders (42.5)
(4:05 pm ET, CBS)

Sam Ehlinger took nine sacks last week. The Raiders have an intrepid pass rush as well. Can the Colts ride the running game this time?

Dallas Cowboys (NL) at Green Bay Packers (OFF)
(4:25 pm ET, FOX)

Dak Prescott vs Aaron Rodgers? Normally I’d take Rodgers all day long, but the Cowboys come out of the bye, and the Packers’ offense has disappeared.

Arizona Cardinals (+3) at L.A. Rams (43.5)
(4:25 pm ET, FOX)

Kyler Murray has an All-Pro option in DeAndre Hopkins. Matthew Stafford’s confidence seems to be as low as it was during the awful days in Detroit.

L.A. Chargers (+7) at San Francisco 49ers (45.5)
(8:20 pm ET, NBC)

Justin Herbert guided the Chargers to a comeback win in Atlanta. But can he deal with the 49ers’ pass rush? However, we don’t know which Jimmy G will show up.

Monday, November 14

Washington Commanders (+10.5) at Philadelphia Eagles (43.5)
(8:15 pm ET, ESPN)

Backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke against MVP front-runner Jalen Hurts? Not much of a duel here.
