Norwich City will host Wigan at Carrow Road in their Championship Matchday 2 tie on Saturday.

Norwich City had a difficult time in the Premier League suffering a straight relegation back to the Championship. They will for sure be looking to bounce back again quickly to the top tier next season; although to do that they need to turn around their fortunes in the Championship as soon as possible.

They suffered a 1-0 away defeat to Cardiff City in their opening fixture last weekend and will be looking to immediately bounce back on Saturday at home.

Meanwhile newly-promoted Wigan will also be looking for their first win in the Championship this season after opening the campaign with a 0-0 draw with Preston last weekend.

The Latics, who won the League One title last term, will be looking for a Premier League return, but first they will aim at retaining their Championship status.

They have not lost in their last six matches across all competitions and have gone uneaten in their last three on the road. Therefore they will feel confident of picking three points on Saturday but will need to be at their best.
