Plymouth Argyle vs Swansea City Match Analysis and Prediction

Championship outfit Swansea City continue their preparations for the 2022-23 campaign at they take on League One side Plymouth Argyle at the Home Park on Tuesday.

The visitors head into the contest unbeaten in each of their last five matches against the Pilgrims since 2008, claiming four wins and one draw in that period.

After an impressive run in the 2021-22 League One campaign, Plymouth Argyle ran out of steam at the business end of the season at the failed to win any of their final five league matches.

As Rusell Martin’s side continued their preparation for the upcoming campaign, they managed to pick up a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Forest Green Rovers on Saturday behind closed doors.

The Swans had previously began their preparations for the 2022-23 Championship campaign with an excellent 7-0 victory over Haverfordwest County on July 1, before holding out for a 2-2 draw with Colchester United four days later.

Swansea begin their league campaign against Rotherham United on July 30, while Plymouth host Barnsley on the opening day.
