The Overwatch 2 Crossplay Beta will take place on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at 11AM PT / 2PM ET / 7PM BST, as confirmed via the official FAQ on the Overwatch 2 website.

How To Register and Play The Overwatch 2 Beta

There are two ways to get access to the Overwatch 2 Crossplay Beta, the first is to purchase a copy of the ‘Watchpoint Pack‘ which not only includes guaranteed access to the Beta, but also grants players the following content:

  • Guaranteed Access to the Overwatch 2 PvP Crossplay Beta (Beta begins June 28th, 2022)
  • Overwatch: Legendary Edition (includes five Legendary Skins, and five Epic Skins)

Additional content granted to purchasers at the release of Overwatch 2 on October 4th:

  • Premium Battle Pass: Season 1
  • Two Overwatch 2 Legendary Hero Skins – Space Raider Soldier 76 and Space Raider Cassidy
  • 2000 Overwatch 2 Virtual Currency
  • Overwatch 2 Player Icon (Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack pre-purchase exclusive)

However, if you don’t fancy forking out to get access to the beta, you can register your interest via the official Overwatch website. Simply select your platform of choice and hit ‘Request Beta Access’, you will then be required to fill in the relevant information, such as your BattleNet account details.

Please note that this does not guarantee you access to the beta, as the developers have confirmed that they will select a small group of players when the beta goes live on June 28 at 11:00 AM PDT and will steadily add more players over time as they ramp up capacity, with the first waves of larger access grants planned to begin on July 5.
