Attack on Titan Final Season Gets An Epic New Poster

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 concluded earlier this year after giving us 12 amazing episodes. The second part focused on Eren’s struggle to control the Founding Titan’s power. The naive boy who saw his mother getting eaten by a Titan has now become the greatest threat to the entire world. However, Eren’s journey is far from over in the anime adaptation, and Attack on Titan will return with more episodes next year.

Soon after the spectacular Part 2 finale, MAPPA announced that Attack on Titan would come back in 2023 with Part 3. Since the official confirmation, the anime community has been waiting for the studio to release a new trailer. Well, we are still a few months away from Part 3’s release, so we’ll have to wait until Fall 2022 to get any new teaser. But fortunately, MAPPA has recently released a new poster for Attack on Titan Final Season. The latest visual teaser will be on the cover of Season 4’s Blu-ray and DVD Volume 4, which will release in Japan on August 22nd, 2022.

DUALSHOCKERS VIDEO OF THE DAY

In the poster, we can see Mikasa and Armin watching Eren’s childhood body while his terrifying Founding Titan form is glaring back at them. The three main protagonists of Attack on Titan seem to be confronting each other in the Paths, the place that connects all Titans and the Subjects of Ymir. In fact, Paths is the realm where Eren convinced Ymir to give him the Founding Titan’s power. So, it’s fascinating how the image takes us back to Ymir’s prison while also teasing the upcoming battle against Eren.

While there’s no official release date for Season 4 Part 3, we can expect Attack on Titan to return sometime around January 2023. The anime has yet to cover the nine remaining chapters from Isayama’s manga series. So, similar to Part 2, we can expect the third part to deliver around 12 episodes, maybe even less. Nevertheless, if MAPPA is indeed targeting a January 2023 release, we’ll get more information regarding Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 soon.
