Do everything possible to win the first fight

There’s no arguing that Flashpoint is a very interesting mode in Overwatch 2, and people like playing it. However, there is one problem with it – the meter ticks really fast, which means that every mistake can be fatal.

One of the first things to focus on in Overwatch 2 Season 6 if you want to know how to win flashpoint maps is to win the first fight. Since the point needs around a 1 minute to get to its full percentage, winning that first fight will almost always guarantee you victory. Sure, there will probably be another big fight, but considering you win the first one and have some ult charges ready, winning the second one should be easier.

You do not have control over the actions of others, but if you want to make sure you’ve done everything right, try not to be super aggressive. This is good news for dive heroes because they can use it to get fast kills.

Know when to play aggressively

As mentioned, the Flashpoints are pretty open and tick way faster than usual. So, to make the most of it and win it as fast as possible, being aggressive and pushing in when the Flashpoint opens is definitely a good idea.

Of course, you need to be very careful when doing it and always consider your hero’s limits. For example, Genji can try to go deep, and he can use his dash to escape, but going in with Sojourn’s escape ability means you are all winning and won’t have anything to escape with.
