But we’re here to talk about Ancient Civilization Parts or Paladium Crystals as they’re called in the Xbox Store versions of the game. We’ll tell you everything you need to know and how to get them.

Palworld How to Get Ancient Civilization Parts

Ancient Civilization Parts are used to craft Ancient Civilization technology which you can find in the purple section of the tech tree. These range from simple things such as the upgrade of Stature to Grapple Hooks and even bigger and badder guns. The points are acquired from beating bosses and dungeons, getting your hand on the parts is a little harder.

There are several ways to get those Ancient Civilization Parts. They can be found as random loot in the various chests you find in the overworld. These can often be found around various points of interest and dungeons and caves.

Another more straightforward way is to beat one of the many bosses that roam the overworld and its dungeons. You can get up to two Ancient Civilization Parts by defeating or Apturing one of those Alpha Pals. These respawn about once every hour. Dungeons on the other hand will take up to 200 minutes to refresh after clearing them.

Farming Ancient Civilization Parts

You won’t need a whole lot of them, but it’s still worth building up a stock just in case. While exploring, the game will mark all the world bosses on your map, so it’s easy to keep track of them. Once you kill them, the marker will disappear but they will respawn in time.

The best way to farm them is to explore the entire map and make a mental note of all the bosses and their locations. Then you can rush over the map, best while using mounts of any kind, and lay them all low. If you want to get the most out of, you should try and capture them. If you don’t need the boss in your Pal collection, you can still butcher them later for their resources.

Farming dungeons are not recommended if you’re only after the Ancient Civilization parts. Going through them simply takes too long and the loot you get while exploring is often not worth it.
