Patch 8.07 features Omen and Clove updates | GosuGamers

VALORANT Patch 8.07 features a lot of bug fixes on the newest agent, Clove.

Every time VALORANT brings a new agent to the game, fans can expect that it comes with a lot of bugs. This is the main reason why Clove is currently banned from VCT matches.

Although Riot did not point out which specific bug forced them to make this decision, the community speculated that it is the bug where Clove loses their primary weapon after using their Ultimate Ability, Not Dead Yet.

Riot addressed a lot of bugs for Clove aside from this specific issue. The most notable bug fixes are for the following: Clove’s aim direction would abruptly change when suppressed during Not Dead Yet (X), Clove’s head and arm hitboxes could be offset when aiming sharply up or down with Ruse (E) equipped, Clove’s corpse would sometimes remain upright after dying, and  Clove’s head and arm hitboxes could be offset when aiming sharply up or down with Ruse (E) equipped, and a lot of bugs at their match details and combat report.

There is also a change to Omen’s ultimate ability, Shadows. Omen is now able to pick up the Spike and interact with other useables like doors while in the Shade form of From the Shadows (X) without having to cancel the ability.

This is a mechanic that is fairly known by the community. Players used to pick up the spike using his ultimate ability and cancelling it immediately. At first, this was thought to be some kind of bug. After being known to the public and Riot did not budge for a “fix”, it was assumed that it is a part of the features of Shadow.

In Patch 8.07, these interactions are not limited to just picking up the spike. Omen can now close the door and pick up a gun.
