Here we’ll try and cover everything you need to know.

About Segunda

Segunda, or Segunda Etapa, are a set of powers you can acquire in the Hollow/Arrancar upgrade path in Peroxide. Think of it as the Arrancar equivalent of the Soul Reapers’ Bankai. They’re not something you get through levelling, you must complete a particular fight in order to acquire them.

How To Get Segunda – Level Requirement

Like a lot of Peroxide’s more powerful piece of progression, getting Segunda is a long process. First, you’ll need to be a Hollow. You can read about how to do that in our Hollow guide. Then, you’ll need to reach Level 90, you can read a bit more about Hollow levelling in our Hollow Progression guide.

Reached 90? Well, here’s where it gets interesting.

How To Get Segunda – Points

You don’t just need levels to get your Segunda. You’ll also need points. You acquire points by doing various tasks.

These include:

  • Taking part in Time Gate events – 75 points for a win, 25 points for a loss.
  • Fighting Time Bubble bosses – Points awarded based on how much damage you did.
  • Defeating Storm Vastocars – 10 points each.
  • Completing Quests – Variable Rewards.

You will need 420 points to move forward.

Fighting The Hollow Prince

Once you have 90 levels and 420 points, it’s time to take on the boss. Head to the large pit in the Menos Forest, and make your way down to find Hueco Oscura. Speak to him, and if you have all the requirements, you’ll need to fight him.

He is no pushover, and has six phases. If you need several tries to get him, there’s no shame in that. Focus on learning his moves and try to avoid damage as much as possible.

Once he’s down, your Segunda Etapa will be available to you. Good luck!
