A new trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes released on Oct. 26, and it showcased quite a bit of content to the fans. Here’s a quick rundown of what was revealed in the trailer on Tuesday.
The trailer begins with the reveal of two Sinnoh Gym leaders, and the modern glow-ups they and their gyms received. Shown in the trailer was Snowpoint’s Candice and Sunnyshore’s Volkner, the respective seventh and final gym leaders in the original games. Their gyms and battles were briefly showcased, alongside the remixed Gym and Gym Leader Battle themes.

The second portion of the trailer was dedicated to Team Galactic and it’s admins. The video cuts to Galactic HQ, giving players a little sneak peek of the battles with Galactic admins Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Of course, Galactic Boss Cyrus also makes an appearance, and continues to intimidate players with his presence. Accompanying the footage were remixed tracks of Team Galactic’s Base, Galactic Admin Battle, and Cyrus’s Fight.
The trailer ends with a segment focusing on the Lake Guardian Trio: Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit. Playing alongside a beautiful remix of the Lake Theme, players were treated to a brief glimpse of their caverns and battles.
Finally, the trailer makes several brief notes on rewards for players who purchase the game on launch:
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are currently planned to release November 19, 2021 on the Nintendo Switch.
