Niantic is gearing up to host another exciting event in Pokémon GO as part of its Rising Heroes saga — A Valorous Hero. Here are all the rewards up for grabs this time around.

A Valorous Hero, the upcoming event in Pokémon GO, tasks players with helping out Team Valor Trainer Candela with some research. This event focuses on battling and powering up Pokémon, with a number of vibrant Pokémon appearing more frequently thanks to encounters and Raids.

Mega Pinsir will make its Pokémon GO debut in a Mega Raid, while other Raids will feature the likes of Galarian Ponyta, Druddigon, Hisuian Avalugg and even Tapu Fini during Five-Star Raids.

Like most Pokémon GO events, there are certain rewards up for grabs for eager players. Here’s what players can look forward to in the A Valorous Hero event.

The rewards on offer throughout Pokémon GO’s A Valorous Hero event include an encounter with a Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory. The Pokémon also has the chance to be Shiny. This encounter is earned by those who complete the Special Research tasks, featuring Team Valor leader, Candela.

Also up for grabs are a number of items and encounters through completing the Field Research tasks. Players stand to earn Stardust, Revives, Hyper Potions, and an encounter with Ponyta.

Pokémon GO’s A Valorous Hero event will begin on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time and end on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
