Police Simulator: Patrol Officers detailed and dated for Xbox, PlayStation and PC

We’ve recently had the chance to go on patrol with Autobahn Police Simulator 3. It didn’t take us long to want to be back in the office, filing paperwork. Very soon though we’ll have a similar opportunity, grabbing the badge and jumping behind the wheel of the fastest police vehicles again – this time in Police Simulator: Patrol Officers.

Currently on PC via Steam Early Access, it’s safe to say that Police Simulator: Patrol Officers has slowly and surely climbed the ranks. It’s gone down well on PC, so much so that the teams at astragon Entertainment and Aesir Interactive are now looking to move out onto console.

November 10th 2022 is the day you’ll find Police Simulator: Patrol Officers present and correct, reporting for duty on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5. That same day will see the Early Access shutters lifted on PC, pushing to full release there too.

But what is Police Simulator: Patrol Officers? Well, it’s a game which will give you the chance to become a patrol officer and go about serving the citizens of Brighton. Placing you in the role of one of eight playable characters, it’s here where you’ll start your first shift as a rookie patrol officer, beating the mean streets of the fictional US East Coast city of Brighton.

Learning the ropes of law enforcement occupation will see you graduating from enforcing simple traffic rules or preventing littering, to investigating minor and major accidents, right up to searching and arresting wanted suspects in cases of theft, bodily harm, property damage or even drug dealing.

Growing in experience with every task, you will get to unlock three different police cars and more complex tasks, along with three lively city districts consisting of fifteen diverse neighborhoods. You can do all this alone, or as a two-player cooperative team, as the multiplayer mode gives virtual officers the opportunity to serve the public as a team together with a friend, while an open patrol mode offers them unrestricted access to the whole city.

As part of the Brighton Police department, any newly minted officers are not only responsible for upholding the law when it comes to the behaviour of the general public, but need to be seen pushing that same vibe to their person. It is just as important that you follow the rules too, setting an example for others. This means that you’ll need to carefully consider all actions when it comes to stopping, questioning, searching or even arresting citizens. Unlawful behaviour by officers will result in the loss of conduct points, which can in turn lead to the sudden end of a shift or, ultimately, termination from Brighton PD.

Expect to find Police Simulator: Patrol Officers available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S , PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 for a rough 39.99 Euro/34.99 GPB/39.99 USD price. That same day will see the full PC launch on Steam too – 29.99 Euro/24.99 GBP/29.99 USD.
