PowerWash Simulator: How To Find The Mars Rover Mystery Hatch

PowerWash Simulator lets you take your powerwashing skills to space to clean the Mars Rover, but there is a Mystery Hatch for you to clean that might be one of the most troublesome to find in the entire game.

The world is your canvas in PowerWash Simulator, but that canvas is very dirty and needs you to clean it. That is why you have a variety of powerful nozzles and accessories at your disposal to most efficiently clean.

Cleaning in PowerWash Simulator is typically pretty straightforward, as you usually just need to look around every nook and cranny of a building, vehicle, or whatever you might be cleaning to find every dirty surface.

Where Is The Mystery Hatch Hidden?

PowerWash Simulator has a mode known as Specials that includes different things for you to wash outside of the Career Mode, with the Mars Rover being one of those.

When cleaning the Mars Rover in PowerWash Simulator, you will very likely end up at 99% and become very confused as to why you cannot find the Mystery Hatch that will show as the last part of the Mars Rover for you to clean.

At this point, you would typically be double-checking while pressing the button to reveal any dirt to see anything you had missed. You also might think that Mystery Hatch might mean it’s something hidden you have to activate on the rover.

While this is a logical way of thinking, the Mystery Hatch isn’t actually even on the Mars Rover itself. Instead, it’s found elsewhere on the surface of Mars.

What you need to do is look for very unique footprints that are found here leading from the rover itself, with two sets of prints combining into one distinct patch away from the rover. From there, follow the path and you will come across the Mystery Hatch you’ve been looking for the whole time as seen in the below image.

The Mystery Hatch should not take you very long to clean and finishing it up will complete the level if you had gotten everything else clean on the Mars Rover itself.

It may be a little disappointing that they make you think there might be a cool reveal with the footprints and mystery hatch, but all you get to do is clean it and move on in the game.
