The Premier League moves into matchday 14 this weekend. Manchester United and West Ham will headline the weekend’s fixture list. The two long-time rivals will play on Sunday.

The Premier League is heading toward the FIFA World Cup 2022 break. Just a few matchdays remain until the league takes a six-week break.

Manchester United vs West Ham is just one of the big matches on tap for matchday 14 in the Premier League. Let’s look at three massive fixtures in the English top flight.

Liverpool are unbeaten in four straight games against Leeds United. Three of those games ended in victories.

Last season, Leeds United went to Anfield and lost 6-0. The Whites are in terrible form and winless in six straight games. Manager Jesse Marsch is nearing the exit at Elland Road and could be sacked if Leeds United lose.

Liverpool aren’t having the best season, but they are coming off a 3-0 Champions League win against Ajax on Wednesday. Forward Darwin Nunez is in good form. He scored in each of his last two appearances.

Liverpool should win this game with ease. The Reds haven’t lost at home this season, and really should win by more than Soccer Buddy’s prediction. Soccer Buddy suggests a 1-0 Liverpool win. It could be more like 3-0.

Result: Liverpool win

To score: Darwin Nunez (if fit to play)

Nottingham Forest defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the FA Cup last season at the City Ground. Can the Reds go to the Emirates Stadium this season and do it again?

It is doubtful, although Arsenal are not in form ahead of the weekend. Arsenal are in first place in the Premier League standings, but just two points ahead of second-place Manchester City.

City play on Saturday against Leicester and could be in first place by the time Arsenal kick off Sunday afternoon. The pressure will be on Arsenal.

The Gunners are winless in back-to-back games. They drew 1-1 with Southampton last weekend and lost 2-0 to PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League on Thursday.

Nottingham Forest shocked Liverpool 1-0 last weekend at home. The Reds should find Arsenal a tough nut to crack despite the win versus Liverpool. Forest have not won away from home this season, drawing two games and losing four. Nottingham Forest have scored just one goal in six away matches.

Result: Arsenal to win

Over 1.5 goals scored

Manchester United are unbeaten in their last four games in the Premier League. They will welcome West Ham to Old Trafford on Sunday for the final match of the weekend.

West Ham are inconsistent and struggling to score goals. The Hammers are 10th in the league standings ahead of the weekend.

Man United are sixth in the standings and six points ahead of West Ham. The Red Devils won five of their last six games versus the Hammers in all competitions.

This game should be low scoring, with Manchester United getting a single goal to claim the win. The win could send Man United into the top four.

Result: Manchester United to win

NO both teams to score

Under 3.5 goals
