Sentinels vs Paper Rex Preview and Predictions – VCT 2024 Masters Madrid

The Sentinels vs Paper Rex lower bracket final is the last opportunity for these teams to secure the Madrid Grand Final. 

Both of these rosters are coming off upsets: Sentinels lost to Gen.G, while Paper Rex managed to defeat LOUD. Now, this lower bracket final will decide who gets to the grand final through a Bo5 series.

Sentinels and PRX last fought each other in the AfreecaTV Valorant League, where the North Americans won twice, their last victory being in the grand final match. 

TenZ and Co. also looked much better throughout this event, but you can never quite predict the outcome of a Paper Rex series. With that being said, let’s predict what might happen in this exciting clash. 

Sentinels

The North Americans looked flawless in Madrid up until their last matchup against Gen.G, losing the series with huge round differentials. Split, a map that looked like Sentinels’ best, was where the South Koreans secured a 13-5 upset.

Their last series proved that Sentinels’ consistency is breakable, even on their best maps. Also, going against the unpredictable and aggressive playstyle of PRX can be a challenge.

While their last victory has shown the bright side of PRX, they haven’t been the most consistent team at the Masters. As a result, it’s going to be the individual forms of players like something, Monyet and f0rsakeN that will determine how this Bo5 pans out for them.
