Four Time Major Winner Dupreeh Resumes His Vitality Journey Before ESL Pro League Playoffs

Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen returns from a month’s parental leave to complete the lineup.

Reining ESL Pro League champion Team Vitality will enter the ESL Pro League Season 17 Playoffs expecting Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen to rejoin the team after his temporary hiatus. The organization took to their social media handles to announce this update ahead of their first game on March 24.

The veteran star was awaiting the birth of his child, leaving his role temporarily for Audric “JACKZ” Jug to take over for Europe’s biggest bi-annual CSGO tournament.

The ex-G2 and current HEET rifler JACKZ left quite the impression as the team went straight to the Quarterfinals by winning Group C. This triumph included fierce battles against their opponents — FaZe, Grayhound and OG — which saw incredible performances from the French side as they pushed past each team with a flawless 2-0.

Thanks to the efforts of Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, who had the highest-rated performance, and JACKZ who followed close behind, Vitality is through to the quarter-finals.

Additionally, with the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Regional Major Rankings slated to commence in April, it appears that dupreeh rejoined the French side just in time.

Following the Dane’s return in the game, JACKZ’s cameo with Vitality has ended, his future with HEET remains cloudy and complicated after the team benched him and brought in a replacement.

Team Vitality’s following lineup will be up against the likes of either G2, Movistar Riders or ENCE:

  • Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
  • Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut (France)
  • Dan “apEX” Madesclaire (France)
  • Lotan “Spinx” Giladi (Israel)
  • Emil “Magisk” Reif (Denmark)
  • Coach: Danny “zionic” Sørensen (Denmark)
