Shin Megami Tensei V daily demon vol. 178 – King Frost

As part of the latest demon trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V, Atlus is now providing a proper look at King Frost. It’s been around for quite awhile, and it has shown up in games like Shin Megami Tensei IV, Persona 4, Persona 5 Strikers, and many other titles.

Over on the Megami Tensei Wiki, the site offers up a little background information on King Frost. Read a bit more about the demon below.

King Frost likely comes from “The Frost Fairies,” a short story written by Margaret T. Canby about King (Jack) Frost, a kind fairy king from the cold North.

It is also just as likely that it’s a pun about the fact that Jack and King are both playing card ranks.

Shin Megami Tensei V is currently on track to release exclusively for Switch on November 12 as both a physical and digital release. More demon trailers are expected leading up to launch next month.
