Slovakia vs. Belarus Match Analysis and Prediction

Two sides in the bottom half of League C group 3 in the UEFA Nations league this weekend when Slovakia welcomes Belarus to Tehelné pole in the sixth round of the competition. Kickoffs on September 25 at 19:00 EAT.

Having been relegated from League B last time out, Slovakia would have expected to bounce straight back as one of the best teams in the group however things aren’t smooth this round as well.  Štefan Tarkovič’s men they have performed pretty dismally, taking only six points from five matches to sit below Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in the group with six points after five matches.

Heorhiy Kandratsyew’s men have huge problems with the lack of attacking creativity having scored only two goals in five outings.

Belarus will seek to make amends following 2-1 Nations League defeat to Kazakhstan in their last outing. In that match, Belarus managed 44% possession, six shots with two of them on target and a goal scored by Pavel Savitski (45′). Kazakhstan got nine shots with three of them on target and goals by Mikhail Gabyshev (29′) and Bakhtiyar Zaynutdinov (79′).
